Is TicketBAI really in beta?

Yes. It reuses ~70% of the VeriFactu infrastructure (hash chain, certificates, QR) but production submission to Hacienda Foral is pending the Bizkaia rollout. We don't mark as LIVE what isn't yet live.

Do I need to configure anything or pay extra?

No. VeriFactu and Facturae are active on every paid plan. TicketBAI flips on automatically at production rollout. You upload the digital certificate once and it stays encrypted.

What if I open a branch in Germany or Italy?

Frihet detects the customer's country and applies the right format: GoBD in Germany, FatturaPA + SDI in Italy, Peppol BIS 3.0 in Belgium, KSeF in Poland, Chorus Pro in France. Same ERP, same compliance.
