SWITCH WITHOUT A BLACK BOX

Bring a sample. Validate the result. Decide after.

Frihet does not promise universal import. We publish verified inputs and outputs, review a sample, and only then can scope, timing, or cost be confirmed.

Submitting a request does not confirm scope, timing, cost, or assistance availability.

INPUTS

What you can test today

Every input maps to a capability verified in the product record. If your source does not fit, it needs review before a migration can be promised.

  • Product or service catalogue

    CSV

Bulk catalogue import from a compatible CSV file.

  • Catalogue from Google Sheets

    Google Sheets

Import from a Google sheet with column mapping and fuzzy matching.

  • Historical invoices

    OCR upload

A three-step assistant: upload, preview and edit, then confirm.

  • Expense documents

    Photo, PDF, or email

OCR extracts supplier, amount, date, and VAT for you to review.

  • Bank statements

    OFX · MT940 · CAMT.053 · CSV

File import with deduplication. This is not a direct PSD2 bank connection.

VALIDATION

One sample before moving volume

Review reduces surprises, but it does not turn an unsupported format into a guaranteed import.

  1. 1. Define the source

State the source system, data type, format, and approximate volume.

  2. 2. Share a minimal sample

Use authorized, representative data; avoid sending more information than necessary.

  3. 3. Review the result

Check fields, formats, duplicates, taxes, and anything that needs correction.

  4. 4. Confirm the next step

Only after the sample can scope, responsibilities, timing, and cost be agreed, if applicable.

OUTPUTS AND REVERSIBILITY

How you can leave matters too

These outputs are available today. An export keeps a usable copy; it does not automatically undo a migration.

  • Client list

    CSV

Export the client list for use with other tools.

  • Accounting invoices and expenses

    ContaPlus · DATEV · Xero · QuickBooks · CSV

Export invoices and expenses in the available accounting formats.

  • Account data export

    JSON

Request the data export available through account and GDPR controls.

  • Client statement

    PDF

Download a client's transaction statement as PDF.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Who decides and who checks

A reliable migration needs clear owners, even when the volume is small.

Your team

Authorizes data use, keeps a source copy, chooses the sample, and approves the result.

Frihet

Explains the scope of available inputs, flags observed incompatibilities, and avoids confirming terms before review.

Your adviser, if involved

Can help interpret accounting data, normalize criteria, and validate cutover; they do not replace your approval.

What to keep

  • The original sample and an unchanged copy.
  • The field mapping you reviewed and approved.
  • Any issues, exclusions, and corrections found.
  • Exports downloaded before changing systems.

LIMITS

What this page does not promise

  • There is no universal importer for every ERP or structure.
  • Generic Excel is not a universal input: use CSV or Google Sheets where the flow is compatible.
  • Bank statements are uploaded as files; there is no direct PSD2 connection.
  • OCR, mapping, and deduplication require human review.
  • Export does not mean rollback, restoration, or guaranteed acceptance by another system.
  • No SLA, timing, cost, or assistance is confirmed until a sample and scope are reviewed.

Questions before you switch

Can you import any ERP?

No. Compatibility depends on the data type and format. This page lists verified inputs; every other case needs a sample.

Can I upload any Excel file?

Not as a general promise. The catalogue supports CSV and Google Sheets in the described flows. A different spreadsheet must be reviewed or converted first.

Does Frihet connect directly to my bank through PSD2?

No. The available capability is importing OFX, MT940, CAMT.053, or CSV statements.

What happens to the sample?

It is used to check format, fields, duplicates, volume, and required corrections before confirming a next step. Share only minimal, authorized data.

Can I undo the whole migration?

There is no global rollback. Keep the source during validation and use available exports as part of your exit plan.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

We do not confirm that without reviewing a sample, format, volume, and responsibilities. Submitting the form creates neither an SLA nor a quote.
