Frihet's Google Drive integration connects your cloud storage to your business document management. Attach contracts, delivery notes, expense receipts, and any document directly to invoices, expenses, and clients in Frihet without leaving the application.
Frihet automatically creates an organized folder structure in your Google Drive to store generated documents: PDF invoices, quotes, reports, and backups. Each document is saved in the folder corresponding to the client and fiscal period.
Integrated search lets you find any document from within Frihet. Type the client name or invoice number and Frihet locates the related files in your Drive instantly.

How to set it up

Connect your Google account
Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Drive and authorize access. Frihet will request permissions to read and create files in your Drive.

Configure the root folder
Choose or create a folder in your Google Drive where Frihet will store generated documents. Subfolders are created automatically.

Enable auto-save
Configure which documents are saved automatically to Drive: finalized invoices, accepted quotes, monthly reports, or all.

Test by attaching a file
Open an invoice in Frihet and attach a file from Drive. Verify that the file appears linked and can be previewed.

Freelancer organizing documentation
Every invoice sent is automatically saved as a PDF in a Drive folder organized by client and year. Contracts are attached to the client profile.
Business with expense receipts
Photos of receipts and tickets are uploaded to Drive and linked to expenses in Frihet. All supporting documentation is accessible for your accountant.
Team collaborating on quotes
Quotes are generated in Frihet and stored in a shared Drive folder. The sales team accesses the latest version without requesting files.
