What this integration does

The Toggl integration pulls your tracked time directly into Frihet, connecting hours worked to projects, clients, and invoices. Time entries sync automatically, so billable hours are always reflected in your financial records.

Project budgets in Frihet update in real time as your team logs time in Toggl. You can see at a glance how much time has been spent against a budget, which projects are on track, and which need attention.

When it is time to bill, Frihet uses your Toggl data to generate accurate invoices based on actual hours worked, eliminating the gap between time tracking and getting paid.

How to set it up

    Connect your Toggl account

    Enter your Toggl API token or authenticate via OAuth to give Frihet read access to your time data.

    Map workspaces and projects

    Link Toggl workspaces and projects to the corresponding clients and projects in Frihet.

    Set billing rates

    Configure hourly rates per project, client, or team member. These rates will be used when generating invoices from time entries.

    Start syncing

    Enable the sync. Frihet imports recent time entries and begins pulling new ones as they are logged.

Time entries sync every 15 minutes by default. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time.
Yes. You can set rates per project, per client, or per team member, and Frihet will apply the correct rate when generating invoices.
The integration connects to Toggl Track for time entries. Toggl Plan data is not currently supported.
Yes. On initial setup, Frihet imports time entries from the past 90 days. You can request a deeper historical import if needed.
