What this integration does

The WhatsApp integration will let you communicate with clients through the world's most popular messaging platform directly from Frihet, using the WhatsApp Business API.

Send invoice reminders, payment confirmations, appointment notifications, and custom messages to clients on WhatsApp — all from within their Frihet client record. Message templates approved by WhatsApp ensure delivery, and conversation history is logged in Frihet for context.

Inbound messages from clients will appear in Frihet alongside their account information, giving your team the context they need to respond effectively without switching between apps.

How to set it up

    Set up WhatsApp Business API access

    Register for WhatsApp Business API through Meta Business Suite. You will need a verified business account and a dedicated phone number.

    Connect to Frihet

    In Frihet, go to Settings > Integrations and select WhatsApp. Enter your WhatsApp Business API credentials and verify the connection.

    Configure message templates

    Create and submit message templates for approval through Meta. Common templates include invoice sent, payment received, and appointment reminder.

Yes. The WhatsApp Business API requires a dedicated phone number that is not currently registered with WhatsApp. This can be a landline or mobile number.
